Wish you all a safe, happy, healthy and creative 2014!
After a bit of quiet time on the blog it is now a good opportunity to take a little inventory of 2013, quilt wise. I think it is worth a celebration realizing that a nice sum of 12 lap quilts were finished last year. I have kept 7 for me:

and gifted 5 so far…

sweet harts
scrappy trips around the world
cool sixteen
Not bad!

Hopefully there will be a few finishes waiting to happen here in 2014:
- a few quilts that only needs binding,
- a few that are slowly being quilted by hand
- and there's a few tops I would like turned into quilts as well..
May 2014 be a year of finishes!
It is also tempting to share new year resolutions this time of the year. A good one would be using more fabric from stash and do less shopping (unless it is for a special project, fabric that I adore and must add to my collection). There's some good ideas out in bloglandia like no fabric shopping for 6 months. No need for me to make that kind of commitment, yet. … Not yet

Planning on sharing some new projects as soon as I learn how to use my brand new camera. A very nice and timely christmas gift as my trusted old one has been out of working order for some time. Blogging and pictures goes together, don't you think?
