dark autumn evenings

These last weeks I made this little wallhanging, 20" by 32", Halloween. It's machine pieced and hand quilted. Inspired by this little pumpkin:

And for the dark and rainy evenings we stacked some wood today:

Thank you for leaving me comments on my princess from my previous post. I changed the butterflies, and am quite happy with the effect:

With these darker evenings I guess we can start dreaming of next summer....
Happy quilting, stay warm and cosy and enjoy your weekend ...

I just found you through Lazy Gal Tonya. I've read through your whole blog and love everything you do. It all looks so fresh and crisp. Must be that Scandanavian influence. I'll be back.

Love your new halloween quilt, what fabrics did you use for the nine patches? Are they hand dyes?
Love the plaid in there and that you hand quilted it!
beautiful.

Your pumpkin does look like mine! I think they came from the same pumpkin patch.

Love the little Halloween wallhanging. You match fabrics very nicely.

Princess looks perfect with her new butterflies.

I hope you see this comment on an older post of yours. I love your Halloween quilt. I am partial to nine patches and the colors you picked are beautiful and rich. Very pretty.
