hipp hipp hurra ...

Today is the national day of Norway, with childrens parades, schoolband and national flags - it's all red, blue and white today.... Last nights national victory of Eurovision Song Contest with the song Fairytale makes the smiles even wider!!!

I am quilting my stars and stripes by hand, and am happy with the way it goes .... So I am off to the celebrations.

Happy sewing!

I love everything about this quilt, the pattern, the colours and especially the hand quilting.

(I copied Mari's message. I assume it means something like "Happy National Day" but looks much more impressive.)

I love this one! The striped reds are fantastic with the wonky stars. I have been looking through and you are such a prolific quilter. I love the improv things that you have finished. Thanks for visiting my blog! The market was right by Fairhaven (South Bellingham) and it was just fantastic!
