I have had some fun making these improv wonly log cabin blocks. Love the bird fabric! And I used both solids and a linen/cotton blend. The blend is soft and a bit more tricky to sew, but I love the feel of it. Maybe you can tell, but I have to admit I love the turquise color! I also think the blocks ended up a bit brighter than I was aiming for...
I might put them together as a square, or a row - haven't decided yet.
Wish you all a nice weekend

I luv, luv, luv these! Very cute! Well done!
These are great! I like your color sense, and the fabrics that you chose (turquoise and red is one of my favorite combinations). I don't think they are too bright at all - very nice!
Love the quilts, love the color too. I am a purple nut but turquoise is a favorite too. Gotta ask though what did it have to do with titter??? Was it just the color of twitter??? I do twitter by the way.

No I don't twitter. I don't get it.
Bu I do 'get' your wonky blocks.
They look great.
Andi :-)
What a beautiful combo. I would never of thought of putting those colours together. But I love how its turning out.
Wow--stunning! I love the turquoise background. It really sets off the blocks.
I am sorry for he confusion here, and maybe something has gotten lost in translation. The norwegian version of Wikipedia says "Ordet twitter betyr kvitring, som i fuglekvitring." In my translation that means twitter is used about birdsong. So I was just playing a bit wth these meanings in my title for the post. And no, I do not Twitter myself.
So good! Love what you are doing here! The blocks are great, the color is so vibrant.
I love the colours you're using so much!
I don't twitter - I've been tempted, but my husband seems to think he doesn't see enough of me as it is
I found some of that owl fabric recently-very cute. Your blocks both for log cabin wonky and the previous flower ones are all so delightful!
