wip

Summer is playing it's tricks around here, on and off, sunny and rainy days.

So that's a chance to cut into some of my stash. Inspiration was plenty, I have seen several pretty cross block quilts over at Jennifer, Carla, Joan and Amy. I'm sure there are more. This is a fun pattern.

I have a special somebody in mind ... thinking pink and yellow will be a good choice for her.

My blocks are 12" and 6" finished size. I have not added extra seam allowance. So I have practiced a scant 1/4" seam. Next time I will add an inch and square them off.
So far this will be 48" by 60". I might go bigger. There is no tight deadline...

The more 12" blocks you make, the quicker this pattern comes together...

Great color choices! This type of block looks like ALOT of fun and I think I'm going to have to give it a try. Is it okay to buy more fabric?!

I have to ask, when you do wonky cuts for a block, do you just cut it by your gut? I hope that makes sense, LOL.
