This summer I am looking through and reorganizing my stash. Taking inventory.
Reading the lovely new book Sunday Morning Quilts by Amanda Jean and Cheryl. On the cover they say "sort, store and use every last bit of your treasured fabric". A good motto.
I have my eye on a couple of their patterns from the book. Diving into my scrap bin of low volume, nearly white scraps. Adding fabric from my stash.
Loving the easy and relaxed sewing. This will be my sunday morning paper quilt, some day...

this post has me swooning!!! your photography is gorgeous. as always. i love the start of your quilt. and the fact that you are sewing out of our book has me giddy!! can't wait to see you work your amazing magic on that quilt. i'm about to start sewing a version of that quilt myself. the low volume had me a little nervous but i think i'm ready to tackle it after a few weeks of mental prep. :)

Hi Marit! I love your new quilt-idea! So relaxing light colours and the best is Sunday Morning Paper! I miss so much morning papers; in Finland the paper comes to every home 4-5 o'clock in the morning, so every can read it before going to work. Here in Greece we buy it from the kiosk (and never too early). Just amazing flowers! x Teje
