check!

yellow check!

red check!

Both quilts have 8" squares in a checkerboard layout, tied on polyester batting: quilters dream poly (thick and soft) and hobbs thermore (thin and soft). At 40" * 48" they conveniently fit a 1.5 yrd backing. They will both be comforting a child in hospital care - a great program supported by my  guild. Love this simple layout. Great way to show the larger prints, and play with different combinations of color.

I wish they will get a lot of use...

Fun quilts for a great cause! I'm sure these will cheer the patients, and that they'll enjoy them for many years.

Wonderful! I like the way the blocks emphasize the fun fabrics and I bet they will bring comfort :-)
