somebody's darling

Another finish for the children in hospital program. Somebody's darling is 49" * 63", all soft and crinkly after a wash and a tumble dry. This one is made with quilters dream request thin cotton batting.

The quilt is made from my guilds fabric basket of donated fabric, with a few additions from my stash. It was a fun challenge to work on fabric chosen by somebody else.

And here's my darling. She turned five a couple of days ago.

Wish you all a good weekend!

It's lovely! It's always interesting to work with fabrics that aren't your choice - or a pattern that isn't your style. I find it encourages me to grow as an artist...

It's such an art to take what you are given and make something beautiful from it. This is exactly what you've done. Bravo!
