twelve snowmen in check
and twelve birds in the air
are my way of celebrating this special day:
12.12.12
My 12 snowmen in check was made this spring and the pictures were taken a few weeks ago. Today was the perfect day to share it with you!
; )
This was my slash the stash of christmas themed prints. Cutting them all into 6" squares (ending up at 5.5" in the finished quilt.) It measures 66" by 77" and is long arm quilted in a pattern called poinsettia on Hobbs Thermore polyester batting.
We are getting more snow today. So pretty and so cold... It is looking more and more like picture perfect outside. (I know it will not last, the climate here is too mild. So we have to enjoy it!)
Hope for good things coming your way on this special date!

love this.....my hoard of christmas fabrics is not yet big enough...maybe next year!
I had an embroidery class this afternoon. I went early because we were sharing lunch -- it was our last class of the year. When I parked my car in a three hour limit space, I glanced at the clock. You guessed it -- 12:12 on 12-12-12!
