Another one alfresco:

longarm quilted by Merete Ellingsen in cotton pantograph

One of the many great traditional quilt blocks and patterns shared by the talented, hardworking and generous Bonnie K Hunter from her blog Quiltville's Quips & Snips!!

Also intended for a lovely young lady. Fun border fabric is by Heather Ross and was a gift from a good friend. I think it anchors the quilt in a good way. Very happy with the result, a happy, happy quilt!

Love the scrappy strings! The pops of orange are perfect with that lavender too. Very sweet looking quilt and sure to be well loved.:)

Your quilt turned out great! Is it all or mostly scraps? Also, did you use a stabilizer like phone book paper? Bonnie Hunter is awesome! Thanks.

Somehow I missed this lovely quilt! So fresh, with just the right amount of whimsy. I'm sure the young woman will love it for many, many years.
