Country Fair

Friday evening I got an idea on what to do with my second panel from my previous post. Saturday afternoon I got to work, and by the evening I had finished the top. It will be a wallhanging next to the tv.
Easy and fun sewing; just liberating these wonky log cabins a bit and adding a bit of black. I think I like it...

Any ideas on how to quilt it?

The black really sets the colors off. That looks great.

What a neat piece! I like it with the black. This is very striking.

As for quilting suggestions, go see what Jacquie at www.tallgrassprairiestudios.com does for her quilting. She's always got interesting quilting on her improv pieces.

it's wonderful! you're not going to be surprised if I say "fans" are you.... concentric circles sounds good too. of course both of those are hard then just doing straight lines that don't cross seams...

It is very cool. The black was a good choice. It makes it very bold.
