This top was started back in january as a result of some blog inspiration, a charm pack from thimbleberries and some fabric from my stash. The blocks are 4" in a shooting stars pattern.
This week I rearranged the blocks into a 10 by 14 size, added the inner border, the lovely Alex Anderson toile fabric (also from stash) and some dark cornerstone blocks. Size is now about 60" * 76". The framing really changed the looks of the top! I am so in love with the toile bird fabric!
So, maybe I can work on finishing the "twin" to?

what a timeless quilt. That is the kind of quilt you can live with forever and ever, and never tire of. Gorgeous. I am also in love with the bird fabric, there's something special about toile!
I love it! It's one of my favorite patterns.
Love it! That toile makes it extra special.
Nydelig som alltid. Likte godt toile`n du har brukt som kant rundt.
Jeg lurer meg på om ikke vi har det samme i butikken, bare i blått.
Ha en flott og solrik helg!! :)
Kjempeflott ble dette!

Takk for hyggelig kommentar!! Å quilte med korssting er en ganske lur måte å komme unna vanlig håndquilting på. Anbefales. Beveger meg inni vatten. Den quilten du viser, føyer seg som vanlig inn i rekken av fine arbeider. Toile er utrolig fint!! Fortsatt god helg.AnneK:-)
Så vakkert det ble! Kantstoffet gjorde susen!! Sommerhilsen:)
I've already quilted two of these quilts. I like your border, it takes on a whole different look.
Wow, the border does change the tenor of the quilt top. Very classic. Just beautiful too!
