hex love

Love Lightening bugs and other mysteries by Heather Ross ...

Love paper piecing ...

Love hexagons ...

Love orange ...
Love a little and portable project ...

Love the difference in texture; the poplin, the flannel and the cotton/ linen blend ...

But do i love EQ6 ?

No, no, no - it's a struggle for me!

I managed to make this layout - believe me finding the hexagon layout was not easy.

I did not manage to print the hexagons on paper to cut into templates, and to be honest, that is quite a frustration...

Anybody out there who would have succeded printing hexagon templates (more than one) from EQ6?

Maybe its me, maybe I'm hexed...

It looks good so far, Marit! Sorry you're not on friendly terms with your EQ6. I got EQ5 years ago but hated pretty much everything about it (it might be because I didn't bother learning it...), but I understand EQ6 has more of the same features like Microsoft Office.
I love oranges too:-)

You can print just one hexagon in EQ6 by clicking on the hexagon in quilt layout and then specifying the size. But, if you want to print a sheet of hexagons in whatever size you want, use this free program:

I don't love hexies - doing them that is - I like to look at someone else's though! Yours are truly darling. I love orange too!

I think I was "hexed" too...I had no luck with EQ6 and eventually got rid of it. but I have a friend who loves it, so to each his own...

I love your new little hexes. I, too, have EQ6 and have not taken the time to learn it. I just get so confused! then I give up. *sigh*
