Attending Kaffe Fassett's lecture Concentrate on Color, a month ago, I had the pleasure of both seeing and touching this very pretty Diagonal Madness Quilt:
When I received his book Country Garden Quilts, a week later, I stumbled across the design again. What can a girl do?
After digging through my stash, doing some additional fabric shopping, washing and cutting the fabric, I was ready to trow myself into the madness...
Love the craziness and colors. So far, so good....
Have a great weekend!

Simply beautiful!!!
Kaffe is the colour master, love that quilt! Yours is looking fabulous, can't wait to see the end result.
wow!!!!!!!!!
Oh, how pretty! You have put your collection of Kaffe fabrics to good use, Marit. I too fell in love with this layout; so simple and so stunning.
Your quilt on the design wall looks to be a beauty already.
That looks really great! I love kaffe´s fabrics and quilts. How lucky you are to meet him!
Greetings from Germany, Steffi
It is going to be amazing!!!!
Oh my - this is lovely!
I was just looking at that one in his book too. You have a great start on it. After doing the Beaded Curtain one (which I modified slightly) I already have some spare parts ready to start this one. I am jealous that you got to see the original and I didn't.
Wow, it is absolutely gorgeous. I love the abundance of color. It's like a beautiful flowering riot in a garden. I love it!
Wow. it looks fantastic, I think you were meant to make the quilt. I don't have that book but I'm going to have to get it now. I love it a lot.
