sunny days

Finished my 4th vintage linen quilt for the table: "sunny days" is 22" * 48". All four are simple checkerboard layouts in various color combinations and sizes. Just simple shapes ...

Quite happy to have made some smaller quilts for the table (can tick off one task on my quilting list for 2010). These cheerful vintage prints are bringing summer inside ; )

A little stack of them:

We are enjoying some sunny days, hoping for more to come...

Happy sewing, gardening, or maybe having an outdoor picnic?

They are beautiful, Marit, and will bring sunshine inside even on a grey and boring day!
I'm enjoying the first rays of sunshine this season, maybe I should put on some sunscreen.-)

Very sweet. I've seen some really terrific vintage linen projects--mostly quilts. I've never seen tablerunners. Great idea.

They are lovely and they do look like a bit of sunshine, something we've been lacking around here.

I am also hoping for many more sunny days. I am also working on some table runners with leftover scraps and hope to finish them this week! The one you made really reflects the sunny days! Great job.

I love your table cloths do you use batting in them when you quilt them and what kind do you use.

I've been looking for some inspiration ideas to use with the vintage sheets from a recent online swap. Thanks for showing your lovelies!

Another beautiful one!! I love them all stacked up like that - just wonderful. Love the stippling like crazy. I'm trying some straight-line quilting right now, and I'm regretting not stippling, especially when I see yours looking so pretty. Oh well, I can always make more! :-)
