september finish

My Pippi Langstrømpe finished at 40" by 54". I used Hobbs Heirloom 80 % cotton 20 % polyester batting and some straight line quilting. The label is stitched to the side of the quilt with the binding. That's a first for me, and I'll see how I like it over time.

A happy, scrappy Pippi Langkous quilt! Gorgeous!

I like to stitch labels with the binding. It looks so much better than those big labels at the back of quilts.

It is a happy quilt and you gave it a good name too. I love simple quilts and they show the fabrics off nicely. I never thought of doing a lable like that.

How cheerful! This world needs more red quilts!

I've just started doing my labels in a similar fashion. I really like the look!
