wednesday wip and washday

cold january weather outside,
working with some warm colors inside...

this is my twist on Kathy Doughty's Fractured quilt pattern

I like to work with pre-washed fabric, and there is a bit of catching up to do...

wish you all a good wednesday!

I wish my laundry looked as fab! With two little boys in the house, there's little room in my washing machine but dirty clothes these days.
Enjoy your warm colours and the progress of another warm and lovely quilt!

So glad to see what you are working on...another beauty! Chiming in on your lovely laundry...after MANY years of being a prewasher, I converted to being a non washer about two years ago after my reds all ran anyway!

great to see this as I love that quilt of Kathy's but though the same thing wonder what would happen if I replaced the jagged edged and just sew strips together....would it have the same graphic look, sometimes I just like clean lines
had to smile at your fabrics hanging to dry :)
good for you! have fun ironing!
can't wait to see this top finished!
thanks for sharing

I converted to being a non-washer a while ago, but I do miss how pretty my washing used to be :o) Love the quilt progress, too!

Your fabrics look beautiful hanging on the lines! And I see you're doing the scrappy trip -- it's gorgeous!
