Birthday gift

Finished with the Chocolate Anvil. And it has gotten a new home, already. This was a gift for my good friend, Monica. It looked so good in her livingroom, complementing the colours of the room. I hope she will have many relaxing moments on her sofa, nicely tucked in under the quilt and enjoying a lazy moment. She is a busy woman, who could use a quiet moment... So, enjoy my dear friend.

Good Morning, and welcome to blogging. I just found your blog through the blog ring and enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading your blogs. Your friend is a lucky person to receive such a nice gift. I like your rain quilt too, reminds me of a brick road. Hope to get to know you better!

Hallo Teresa. Thank you for leaving me such a nice comment! This is my first feedback from anybody, and it means a lot to me. And yes, she is a very special friend to me, and I know that she appreciated the gift.
I loved reading about your special healing quilt, and I have to say I also love the look of it. Again, thank you for kind words. I am fairly new to this, but I am sure we have more to share, with such a nice hobby. Have a nice day, Teresa!

What a lovely quilt--and how fun to find a Norwegian quilter as I am out "blog hopping" this morning. I have a keychain that says "Quilters find the world a very small and friendly place!"

My husband's grandfather emigrated from Norway before the war. Still has some cousins there, I got to visit them in Oslo and Bergen a few years ago! Beautiful country!!!

Hallo Yvonne! Nice to hear from you. It´s a small world - my husband has his family in the States, a bit north of Seattle. We are planning to visit with them this summer. I am hoping to visit the Pacific Nortwest Quiltfest in august 08. Have you ever attended?

I want to return your complement, from my visit to the Seattle area, it is a beautiful place.

We are living on the western coast of Norway, just south of Bergen, in Stavanger. Funny thing, such a small world...
